Young fundraisers at Cheadle Hulme High School
Some very enterprising Year 7 pupils at Cheadle Hulme High School presented a business plan to their Head of year and yesterday ran a cake sale raising a brilliant £74.70 to be donated via our group to the MS society!

Total funds raised are now approaching a MASSIVE £25000!! Brilliant!
Next up is the Land's End to John o' Groats Moggie Challenge which will see my parents attempt this epic trip in their MorrisMinor!!

CHEQUE PRESENTATION!
After 2 years of fundraising, the total stood at more than £14,500, and we presented a cheque to the MS Society to be used specifically towards the Cambridge Myelin Research Project.
The picture shows the family members presenting it to Julie Henney (MS Society) & Derek Farmer (Macclesfield & District MS Society).

Stunning News (Just in time for MS week!)
Over the last few months, we have been planning and staging many events!
Last weekend in Llanwrst, a concert with Cor Meibion Maelgwn raised £1400 in ticket sales and donations. Diolch yn fawr i bawb!!
'National Anthems' an classic dance night at Harleys in Glossop (with DJs Carl Kennedy, James Booth, Dave Ainscough and myself) helped add another £250 into the pot!
Tintwistle WI supported us via a coffee morning in Glossop and donated £205 recently.
More donations have come in from over the border AND....
Rydal School have raised over £4000 in their fundraising activities for the year!!
THEREFORE...THE "SCORES ON THE DOORS"....
WE HAVE RAISED OVER £14000 IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS!!!

Vinyl Night at the Friendship on June 25th
Quiz Night organised in conjunction with GNE supporters Club
Fund raising league game at Surrey Street
Christmas Coffee Morning on December 10th at Bradbury House in Glossop
